When you just feel like a little bit of meat. This recipe can be made and eaten from the same container for easy washing up and makes for a quick and filling snack.

What You’ll Need

1 slice bread 

2 tablespoons  (40ml) milk

1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

125g (¼ lb) mince/ground beef

1 shallot (spring onion)

Pinch salt & pepper


Equipment Used : Spoon, Knife, Measuring Spoon, Cup (I used my JSK Collapsible Cup)

Step 1 – Prepare

Break the bread into tiny pieces and place in cup. Add the milk and Worcestershire sauce and leave for a few minutes for the bread to absorb the liquid. In the meantime, thinly slice the shallot.  Add the mince and chopped shallot to the cup and mix well.

Step 2 – Cook

Cook in the microwave until the meatloaf is firm and no longer pink in the center (about 4-5 minutes depending on the microwave).  Leave to stand for a couple of minutes and top with a sprig of parsley if you have some.
